Overview

CBCS has been set up with the support of the University Grants Commission as a Centre of Excellence and was the first to offer courses in Cognitive Science in India. It still runs the only Cognitive Science Master program in the country.

A Master (M.Sc.) and a Doctoral program in Cognitive Science are offered by the centre.

Course Eligibility

Candidate should have passed Bachelor's degree in Behavioral/ Cognitive Science or Psychology, Neuroscience, Bio-sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Medicine with minimum 55% marks from any recognized University. Admission will based on the student's performance in the Entrance Test & Interview.
