Bangalore Institute of Technology was founded in 1979. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and IEEE, accredited by the NBA and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The Institute strives to produce future professionals who would contribute their acquired education and knowledge as the foundations of the society's and the country's growth and development. The mission is to foster technical competence, research aptitude and environmental awareness amongst aspiring technocrats to develop sustainable engineering solutions. Some of the courses offered by the institute are B.Tech. Electronics & Communication Engineering, B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering, etc. The atmosphere in the institute is quite conducive to learning and practicing the various disciplines of Engineering. To promote the driving abilities of the students, the Institute is dedicated to maintaining an academically productive and professionally competent environment.
