KIIT School of Public Health (KSPH) prepares the next generation of public health professionals, managers, health policy makers, public health practitioners, research leaders and academicians.KIIT School of Public Health(KSPH) provides short term training opportunities from the current academic year (2015-16) and onwards for those serving persons who want to upgrade their knowledge and skills in public health. The school offers 2-year Master of Public Health (MPH) degree and PhD courses from the academic year 2016-17 and onwards.KSPH provides an active, student centred special learning environment with modern facilities in class room, community and facility based field practice areas and internship through partnering and collaborating organizations. Thus KSPH provides opportunities for problem solving and promotes development of professionalism in public health.KSPH have to advance public health research and its application in public health policy, practice and programs at different levels in collaboration with Government, Non-government and international partners. The huge laboratory facilities available in School of Bio-technology, Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) and other schools of KIIT University and the facilities available at community level in rural, tribal. Urban, industrial, mining and tourist areas will be used. Working with other KIIT Schools KSPH can undertake most advance researches including genetic epidemiology.
