P.Perichi Gounder Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust (PPG Trust) Coimbatore, was established in the year 1992 by Dr.L.P.Thangavelu, a leading laparoscopic surgeon of Coimbatore City. The Trust with an ambition to provide teacher training to the youth of Tamilnadu established PPG College of Education in the year 2005. The Post Graduate degree course in Education (M.Ed) was started in the year 2006.
