Overview

Ambedkar University Delhi was found in 2008 by the Government of the NCT of Delhi and is affiliated to AIU, UGC. The University is named after Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the visionary Indian reformer. AUD is the only university in this region to cater exclusively to the study of the humanities and the social sciences. The University is broadly structured into schools and centres. It also proposes to set up a number of centres with the directive to facilitate research and dissemination of knowledge in lesser known or neglected areas. It is committed to creating an institutional culture characterized by humanism, non-hierarchical and collegial functioning, teamwork and creativity.

I enjoyed studying at Ambedkar University as they focus more on practical experience rather than bookish knowledge and labs have all the new apparatus available to use.

I’ve been studying in AU since last three years, I think it is an awesome university with environment to learn and develop your personality in multi-colours as per today's scenario. Also it shares its campus with IGIT and the metro station is nearby only and these things are like cherry on the cake.
