Kamala Nehru College ranks 8th (within the top 10) Arts colleges affiliated with the University of Delhi. If you are looking for a good quality education in an all girls institution, you should definitely consider this college. It is located near Green Park Metro Station in South Delhi. The infrastructure is good and we have all the facilities including a multimedia auditorium and a state of the art gym with all necessary equipment. There is Wifi on campus and the environment is friendly and conducive. The lecturers are experienced and teach well. The canteen is one of the many impressive features of the colleges. Meals along with snacks are sold at affordable prices, perfect for students on a shoe-string budget. Along with that, there is a Nescafe also. Just like other DU colleges, Kamala Nehru attracts students from all over the country and the crowd is diverse. There are various societies such as Adagio (Choreo), Lakshya (Drama), Glitz (Fashion), Enigma and Nupur (Indian and Western Dance), Sangeetika and Zephyr (Indian and Western music) with Photography, Book reading, Film society... these numerous societies are enough to cater to everyones needs. If you like what you have read about the college so far, you may want to consider joining it.

The first thing that I feel knc is best for is it's faculty. Be it commerce or arts, the teachers come with excellent academic backgrounds and are available almost all the time for students. Secondly, which is the priority of students these days, the canteen. The food in knc is known for its variety and low prices. The infrastructure Is good, the special attraction bring the chaupal and canteen area. Overall, the college is very good in terms of academivs, faculty and infrastructure, and I would advice it for anyone pursuing commerce and arts.

I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to go to North campus, since it was all people talked about when it came to DU.

But I'm genuinely really glad I got into Kamala Nehru College. I had a hard time adjusting initially, but once I started interacting with people, I realized how very warm they were and the teachers too.

The canteen is quite good. Weirdly enough, the fact that girls from Gargi come to chill at the KNC canteen, makes me feel a bit proud. Haha.

So, to sum it up,

I'm a proud KNC passout.

kamala nehru college has surprised me and changed my notion towards it completely. for someone who prefered north campus but had to be in south, it was painful but the two year long journey has changed me to a great extent. the professor here treat you more than just students. the food is famous yet mouth watering. one of the big canteens in DU. the three storey library provides you with all the books of the world. again of the best libraries of Du it has got. the chaupal adds to the charm of college. it cannot be said that its a college that celebrated its golden jublee last year. its a priviledge to be in kamala nehru college.

Kamala Nehru College is one of the most prestigious college of Delhi university. The college has a brilliant faculty with highly qualified professors being its part. The infrastructure is also worth looking at. The chaupal and the canteen are its main attractions. Overall the college has managed to maintain it's reputation and will hopefully continue doing so.

Kamala nehru college had maintained its position in the top 10 colleges of the Delhi university for many years now. Needless to say it is one of the best colleges one can come across. Yes, yhe infrastructure is not that great. It is simple but yhe quote, "don't judge the book by its cover", is the most appropriate phrass fo describe this college. Apart from the main collrge building, it has the only open amphitheatre of the whole of DU. It has a humugous auditorium which can accomodate upto a 1000 people. It also has 3 computer labs with around 150 computers.

Kamala Nehru College is known for its English, psychology, journalism, political science and sociology faculty. The faculty of English is one of the best in DU. The people of this college arw nothing like the stereotypes that descrube them as bossy, arrogant, not-homely, so on and so forth. In fact, they are so homely and welcoming that once you interact with them and get to know them, one would feel like they have always been a part of this family. The teachers are very helpful and warm and always inspire us to tell or ideas and help us in making the idea a reality.

In all, even though, KNC is an all girls college. And is in the south campus, it is worth studying inbecause of its progressive and liberal ideologies that help us in becoming more open to the changes taking place every day.

Kamala Nehru is one of the most brilliant colleges in DU. The people I've met and became friends with here in this college have made my life truly wonderful and memorable. Kamala Nehru has everything you could ever ask for and more. Excellent faculty, amazing staff and very warm and loving teachers who make you feel so wonderful and loved. Bonds between teachers and their students run deep. Our teachers become friends in due course of time and help us develop all round. And the food is to die for! It's a foodie dream come true. So many varieties of food, ranging from North-South and West-East. Couldn't have asked for a better college. Kamala Nehru College is a dream come true college for people who seek to make familial bonds with their peers, their friends and most importantly, their teachers. Kamala Nehru is the place to be. Forever and ever.

Having spent two years in the college, I feel that an institution like Kamala Nehru is worth the praise. Apart from the meaningful experience of knowledge the college provides, the amount of time the faculties spend on making independent, educated and confident women is remarkable.

Not only does the college provide abundance of opportunities for young ladies but also makes sure that their skills and talents are harnessed in the positive way to grow and produce constructive changes in the society.

I find the honors course in English among the best courses as the faculty of English consists of some wonderful teachers who contribute alot into the shaping of confident and rational individuals.

It's not about the fact that I am an ex-student of this college so it's worth a praise. Kamala Nehru has it's own charisma. It's not a typical red brick building of DU but it has something that just can't be ignored. The faculty of KNC. I will start off with the English department. Few of the most educated, liberal minded, intellectual bunch of teachers who will break all stereotypes of a teacher-student "strictly bound" relationship. Students not only learn literature but grow as indivisual personalities. And well same goes for all other departments be it political science, history or psychology. You will never regret having such teachers in your college days. After all where do teachers organise a special teacher's farewell when you leave college?

Apart from this, KNC has the largest library in South campus. The three storey building will drown you in its huge collection of books. That's a must need which KNC fulfills. Well as students and foodies what we need is the canteen at the end of a long and tedious day. Bang on!! KNC will never disappoint you. Ranging from north Indian, South Indian , Chinese, desserts etc KNC can fulfill all your hunger cravings.

Be it faculty or food KNC will never disappoint you. And at the end of three years all you will have is a bag full of knowledge and memories and a heart full of desires to come back to this college.

If you get admission in KNC despite the high cut offs :p do not leave it for the world. Everything about KNC is bound to make your college life memorable. Amazing faculty , a good and active placement cell, a canteen that serves north indian to chinese food. Do make it a point to join any one of the KNC societies- they provide a lot of exposure and one gets to learn a lot.

The three-storeyed library, amphitheatre Chaupal and the huge canteen serving delectable food are huge plus in infra. Faculty is good and finding a pg near college is not a problem. The student body is diverse here. Placement-wise, the college is however, still in its developing stage, but it makes up for it by adequately shaping you up to conquer the job market!
