The library is well-equipped and can keep you in for hours on end. And Society practices in the evenings are a treat to be around!Read full review

When people hear the term 'all girls college' the first thought that comes to mind is of an endless fashion parade and back-bitching girls. I too had this particular image as I took admission into Miranda House, and I had prepared myself for the worst. I had made up my mind about the lack of boys and probably a boyfriend-less college life. But I was wrong, so wrong. The atmosphere here is so friendly, so exciting that you feel like you're home. You can do ANYTHING! Wear anything, say anything...and no one bats an eye. At Miranda, you'll see girls fixing their dresses while walking, applying gloss, or random conversations about football and books, and it's perfectly normal. You don't have to be a fashionista, a lot of the students come in pajamas. Most of all, you realise that you don't need a man to do your work. We girls organise all our fests and events ourselves, do our election campaigns ourselves, which is quite a rare sight in co-eds.
I absolutely love my college and the freedom I feel here. What I don't like sometimes is the way the 'male' administration treats us- as girls who are only here for fashion and don't know anything about how things work in the real world. The stereotypes surrounding the image of an all-girls institution annoy me a lot.
But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what my friends from colleges think. Whether they think I'm living a boring life or rotting away without male companionship. I don't mind as long as I'm having fun.Read full review

Three years spent here were the golden years of my life. Miranda is absolutely an amazing college. It's full of life and opportunities. The college has everything that keeps you going. Love Miranda!Read full review
