In 1983, a college named Delhi Institute of Technology was developed in order to meet the growing demand and requirements of manpower in the engineering and technological fields. It is a co-educational institute governed by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi and is affiliated to University of Delhi for all its UG, PG and Ph.D courses. The college began with mere 45 students in its first UG level program- Electronics and Communication Engineering. Situated at its initial location at Kashmere Gate from 1983 to 1998 after which it was formally inaugurated by the then Prime Minister- Sh. A.B. Vajpayee and shifted to its present picturesque location at Dwarka, New Delhi in 1998. That is when the college was renamed as the Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology and the institute has certainly carved a niche for itself ever since. Today, the institute is very well recognized for its education and research- both nationally and globally. Today, the college serves as one of the best technical institutes of the entire nation and therefore, is highly desirable among the aspiring engineering students.

Read full reviewNsit has a brilliant environment for aspiring engineers to grow and hone their technical skills. It has a terrific placement record and adequate facilities to propogate in the field of research. Faculty is not entirely good, but many professors are really good and encourage research projects. But most of the learning occurs outside classroom, from seniors. Senior-junior relationship is best here. Societies are very active that facilitate people to identify their passion and learn a lot. One aspect where nsit lags behind is infrastructure like free wifi. But believe me that won't affect much.
