Overview

Ramanujan College was established in 1958 and is affiliated to University of Delhi. The institute was formerly known as Deshbandhu College (Evening). Initially, it started as a boys college but later in 1994 it opened its doors to women students too. It proffers degree courses in Commerce and Humanities. It is the third largest college for Commerce education in Delhi University. It has become a separate entity and will have a new campus. The new college will be a Delhi University maintained college fully funded by UGC. Once the New College building is ready it will mainly focus on Mathematics, IT, Computers, besides Commerce & Humanities. There are several departments in the college such as Department of English, department of commerce, department of history, etc. The faculty team of the college is highly qualified and experienced.

Previously know as Deshbandhu evening college is located in kalkaji.

The college mainly focuses on Mathematics, IT, Business studies and psychology. Facilities provided by college- library, computer lab, placement cell, canteen, gym, sports, equal opportunity cell, remedial classes, societies. The college is average and requires improvements.
