Overview

School Of Tourism and Hospitality Service Management (SOTHSM), established in 2007, has an aim to significantly contribute towards generating required trained human resources as well as entrepreneurs because there is an intense competition amongst international and national destinations being tourism and hospitality the highest employment generators which contributes to the income of the country. The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), established in 1985, has been unceasingly strive to build a knowledgeable society by imparting inclusive education. The SOTHSM offers a variety of programs emphasizing on quality research and meeting the societal and industrial needs. It also readily organizes capacity - building training programs, entrepreneurial development programs and management development programs at various levels independently as well as in collaboration with national and international institutions, organizations and industry. The major association of the School is with the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) wherein BSc. And MSc. programs are being offered through dual mode since 2002.
