I am a student of b.com prog in SBSC and its currently my 2nd year. In this review I would like to point out the things I have experienced in my past 1 year
1. Societies are a must. I was a part of LFT (leaders for tomorrow, a student run NGO) and the amount of exposure I have gained is amazing. There are other societies like commerce association, young entrepreneurs society, finance and investment society, natuve (dramatics society), Audiphile etc
2. Each society conducts its own events so there is always something going on in college to keep us busy and its real fun to attend such events.
3. Faculty, as you must have read in most of the reviews is amazing. Yes the faculty is amazing but only for commerce department. Its okayish for other departments
4. Placement cell is great. But companies only come for recruitment of Commerce students.
5. I dont face any transportation problem as you get a sharing auto of rs10 from malviya nagar metro station to college and vice versa so its pretty feasible.
6. The ground is huge. There are 2 lawns and a sports room where students can play carrom, chess and table tennis.
7. Sbsc is a single college in the whole DU who have a round campus which looks amazing.
8. Canteen food is good and service is also fast. There is this sitting kind of area on the side of canteen and its pretty amazing, me and my friends are always there.
9. Lots of places for students to hangout near college and PG accommodation is also just at a walking distance.
10. Annual fest of sbsc is not too good from last few years, but we hope for the best now because the union is very good and helpful as well this year.Read full review

Well, it is really a great College. The infrastructure is really very nice obviously when compared to other Delhi university Colleges. Talking about the crowd, it depends on your perception on what basis you judging them and your experience with them,, for me, everyone so friendly and may be opposite for someone else. But if haven't joined any society, then definitely there is something you would be missing out. There is so much of fun and learning in these societies that you will never forget those experiences.Read full review

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is a well known college situated in Sheikh Sarai in South Delhi.
I am pursuing a degree in Bcom(H) from this college and the faculty is certainly upto the mark.
The infrastructure is not remarkable by any means, but you get used to it.
The canteen is good and the rates are affordable.
The best part of the college for me personally would have to be the cultural societies-as I myself am a part of the Music Society which is called Audiophile.
Joining a society gives one a fresh perspective of college life. You get to meet many like minded people who will remain friends with you for life.
You also get to interact with a greater number of people from your college AND from other colleges too.
There are various societies in the college like Natuve-the dramatics society,Envision-the Photography soc,Spardha-the Dance Soc and Promethean-the Fine Arts soc.
Some of the negatives of the college would be the lack of an auditorium to hold any kinds of functions.
As is the case with any institution, the crowd is mixed-a combination of good and bad.
The placements are reasonably good, given you have a good score throughout your 3 years of college.Read full review

I am a student of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College and the best thing about this college is the leniency in attendance and its teachers. I am pursuing CS side by side so I dont really get time to attend classes but the teachers are always there to help out in case I have any doubts or any concern about my future. They are always ready to provide career counseling which everyone needs once you get out of your teen years.
The other thing I love about this college is its huge library. Its a 2 floor library and you can always find the book you're looking for.
Infrastructure is great. Canteen is separately built and is also quite big with a wide variety.
PG and flats are available just infront of the college.
No transportation problem.
Enough places for students to hang out.
Environment of the college i.e the students are pretty decent too.
And, number of societies for the students to choose from.Read full review
Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, An amazing institution with renowned faculty and decent infrastructure! With the cutoffs being sky high, people only dream of getting such college. Getting admission in PGDAV college in first year, never thought of any transition after that. But, getting some score in first year, gave me a chance to get migration in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. It was an incredible feeling getting into such a good college. (Top 10 best colleges of DU, to be precise). Shaheed Bhagat Singh College also offers remarkable placements, Companies like Ernst & Young (EY), KPMG, PwC, Delloite visit the campus for recruitment. On an average, almost 67% people get placed in companies, which is a fabulous record being a college of Delhi university. The culture, environment of the campus just brings the best out of you. It may not be north campus college, but competes with the best of colleges in DU. Gives great exposure, opportunity to grow and gives knowledge to sustain for the betterment of students. Highly recommended College!Read full review
Shaheed bhagat singh college is one of the premier institution of Delhi University and it withstands its reputation it has earned in the last 50 years. Talking about the faculty, Commerce department features well versed teachers with excellent teaching skills.
From the very first day SBSC has provided me with great platform to groom up my skills.
Everyone gets equal Opportunities, but one who extracts maximum out of it outshines the others.Read full review
SBSC comes in the top 10 colleges for commerce. There must obviously be a reason for it. And that reason is its faculty. The teachers here are great and lenient. They will always be there whether its regarding the doubts or any query for your future desicions. I have always found the teachers here to be very supportive.
Crowd 5/10 (it gets really messed up at the time of elections)
Extra curricular activities 9/10 (tons of societies for students to join and experience something other than studies)Read full review

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is located in the famous Sheikh Serai area, and is a 10-15 minute ride away from Malviya Nagar metro station. Talking about the Infrastructure here
is nothing to be too proud of, fortunately the students are quite happy with it.Classrooms are well ventilated, the fans work more often than not, and the computer labs are airconditioned, moreover also have a functional library.Despite all this the key attraction is the huge ground to pursue sports that keep students busy.
The college has Arts and Commerce streams and SBS College is renowned for its commerce faculty, which students say is probably the best in Delhi. While that is, no doubt, an absolute exaggeration, it is safe to say that the professors are highly qualified and very experineced. The college operates in the morning as well as the evening, and there’s a huge amount of difference in the kind of people you find in either of the sessions.
The nearby cluster of malls at Saket is definitely the most obvious place for students to hang out. To name a couple of malls, MGF Metropolitan, Select Citywalk. Apart from that local restaurants and juice shops serve mouth watering cheap food and drinks tooRead full review
I am a second year B. Com(H) student and have enjoyed my first year of college life at Shaheed Bhagat Singh college.
The college has various hangout points at walking distances like roll shops, juice shops, Chinese food joints and also the best mall in Delhi, Select City nearby. I reach college through metro and then take a sharing auto for rs. 10. No e-rickshaws are available in South Delhi. Autos and buses are the only means for public transport. The college has a decent canteen which caters well to the students.
The faculty is decent enough.
Library (huge) is the most peaceful place for reading books and a good WiFi connection is over there (haha)Read full review
