Overview

South Asian University (SAU) was founded in 2010 and is affiliated with all the SAARC countries. It proffers post-graduate and doctoral programs in various regimes which include Computer Science, Biotechnology, International Relations and Law, etc. The university is striving to eventually have 11 post-graduate faculties and a faculty of undergraduate studies. The degrees conferred by the university are accepted by all the eight SAARC nations. The primary objective of the Univesity is to create a culture of mutual understanding and territorial consciousness and to cultivate a future generation of humanistic, intelligent and excellent leaders. The university endeavors to advance learning in the South Asian community, promoting a comprehension of every person’s viewpoint and the strengthening of national awareness. The vision is to provide world-class education in sync with the latest global trends, proffering liberal and humanistic education to the smart and dedicated aspirants across South Asia.

The perfect amalgamation of knowledge with a culturally rich environment. I did my Masters in Biotechnology from here and those two years were undoubtedly the best, I wouldn't want to trade with being anywhere else.

I did MA in Dev. Economics at South Asian University (SAU), I think it was an outstanding opportunity for me to study there. The faculties are always cooperative and recognized for their academic excellence. It has extensive research focus which makes it even more lucrative for future researchers of South Asia.
