Vidyajyoti College of Theology began in 1879 in West Bengal as the Saint Joseph’s Seminary which was later transferred to Delhi in 1972, where it was renamed as the Vidyajyoti College. Theology, popularly known as the study of religion, is one of the oldest topics of study in the history of the world. However, the field has seen dramatic changes over the years. The Vidyajyoti College utilizes contextual methodology for the teaching of theology, helping students acquire more comprehensive knowledge and understanding of issues that impact the lives of Indians. Emphasis is given on helping each student understand the Cristian faith, based on the Indian context and in cohesion with the many religions that are present in India. Courses in Theology are available at Certificate, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral levels.

There are not many colleges for theology in the capital, so this one is good to go if you're particularly interested in the subject. Faculty isn't disappointing either and you get to contribute to its research publications, which is pretty cool.
