There are various differences b/w CSIR NET and UGC NET. Apart from their ultimate motive that these exams are being conducted for Assistant Professorship and JRF, nothing is similar in them.
From the very starting, the CSIR NET is conducted by CSIR itself and as far as UGC NET is concerned, it was earlier under the hat of UGC then CBSE, but now NTA (National Testing Agency) holds the responsibilities for conducting this exam.
There are 3 sections in CSIR NET Exam (Part A, Part B & Part C) whereas the UGC NET consists of 2 Papers (Paper 1 & Paper 2).
You can check the Difference between CSIR and UGC in detail here.

Hello
Both exams are totally different to each other. If you want to make your career in government sector then you should select SSC CGL 2018 Exam. But if you want to go in research field then you should prepare for UGC NET or CSIR NET Exam.
As my suggestion, you should prepare only one exam at a time so that you can focus on the exam.
Thank You!!
