The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University conducts the Planning and Architecture Entrance test also known as JNTU PACET every year for admitting candidates into 5 years B. Arch., 4 years B. Planning and also in 6 years B. Arch. (part time degree course) and other related courses.
Exam: In the month of July.
Result: In the month of August.
The syllabus will be as per the subject of the exam.
The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent conducted by the Intermediate board, Andhra Pradesh. The candidate should have complete the age of 16 years on or before the date of examination.
JNTU PACET examination for admission to Architect (Part A) consists of 2 papers i.e., Drawing Test and Aesthetic Sensitivity Test of 100 marks each. The duration for both the exam is 2 hours each. Whereas, JNTU PACET examination for admission to Planning consists of only 1 paper of 100 marks of 2 hours duration consisting of relevant subjects.
The examination for B.Arch will consist of two tests namely drawing and aesthetics both of 2 hrs carrying 100 marks each. The examination of B.Planning consisting of one test of 2 hrs carrying 100 marks each.
The cost of application form is Rs. 400. The candidates can either avail the form in person from the authorized centers by paying a demand draft of Rs. 400/- or can download the form from the website and pay the amount through demand draft while submitting the form. The form can be obtained by post as well by writing it to The Secretary, APSCHE, with the demand draft of Rs. 450 only.
The result will be displayed on the official website in the month of August.
Jawaharlal Nehru University will be issuing admit card of JNU Entrance Examination 2016-17 in online mode in the first week of May. You can download JNU 2016 Admit Card after entering application number and password through the official link in this page.
