Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2017: Application Form, Pattern, Syllabus

Summary:

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted annually by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The exam is conducted as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

CMAT enables the candidates to take admission in all AICTE approved institutions across the country. As the name suggests CMAT facilitates respective institutions to select students for management programs.

Syllabus:

The syllabus for the exam will be as per the topics of the exam.

Eligibility:

Applicant must be a citizen of India. Graduates in any discipline can apply for CMAT exam. Final year graduates whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2017-18 can also apply for CMAT online exam.

How to Apply:

Exam Pattern:

The paper will be divided into four segments namely, Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness. Each section will contain 25 questions of 1 mark each. For each wrong answer there will be negative marking of 1 mark each.

Process:

CMAT is a computer based exam. The duration of the exam will be three hours.
