AMRITA MBBS (Amrita Medical Entrance Exam)

Summary:

Admission in MBBS course is open for the academic year 2016 at Amrita Health Sciences Campus, Kochi. Candidates willing to take admission in the respective course had to qualify the Entrance test conducted by the University.

Syllabus:

Syllabus for Amrita Entrance Examination will be as per the 10 + 2 Examination (CBSE). The syllabus will be as per the Medical Council of India and University - Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Eligibility:

Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years by 31.12.2016 and should not exceed 23 by the said date. He / She must be a pass in higher secondary examination or its equivalent in the first attempt with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology taken together and 60% marks in English separately. Those who appear for the qualifying examination in March / April 2016 can also apply.

Application Fees:

The Application fee for the exam is Rs.1,600/- to be Online through Net banking / Credit / Debit card.

Process:

The exam will be Pen-Paper Based. Candidates should leave answer sheet as well as the question booklet on the desk before leaving the Examination Hall. If the question booklet is not returned, the answer sheet will not be evaluated.

Exam Pattern:

The Test will be of objective type. Each Multiple Choice Question will consist of a stem and four options, labelled A, B, C and D. Only one of the options is correct and for each correct response one mark will be awarded. Total Marks – 150. There will be no negative mark for the wrong answer.

Result Info:

The result will be displayed on the official site.

Admit Card:

Hall Tickets will be issued to every eligible candidate who is required to write the Entrance Examination and will be published at Website three weeks prior to the date of Entrance Examination. Candidates may access their Hall Ticket by giving their Application Number and Date of Birth and take a colour printout which will be a valid Hall Ticket. Refer the given link for more details (Pg.
