The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) was established by an Act of State Legislature (Act No.XXV of 2002). Admission to various programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in government run and privately managed institutions in the state are organised by JKBOPEE. JKBOPEE 2017 is being conducted for admission to the B.Ed. programme.
JKBOPEE 2017 eligibility criteria is as follows:
Applicants must be Indian nationals.
They must be a permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
They must have a degree in B.B.A or B.A. or B.Sc. or B.Com as per the 10+2+3 pattern.
Applicants must have scored at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category candidates) in the qualifying examination.

The exam pattern for JKBOPEE 2017 is as follows:
Mode of exam: Offline ( pen and paper mode )
Duration: 02 Hours and 30 minutes
Number of questions: 160
Marks allotted per question: 1 mark for every right answer.
Negative Marking: 0.25 mark will be deducted against one wrong answer.

Admit Card for JKBOPEE 2017 will be available online. Candidates can download their Admit Cards from JKBOPEE 2017 official websites (www.jakbopee.net or www.jakbopee.org or www.jkbopee.in). Candidates will need to take a print out of the same on coloured photo paper.
Date of issue of JKBOPEE 2017 admit cards will be announced through a separate notification.
Applicants, who do not have access to internet, may avail their admit cards at the Help Desk of I.T. Section of JKBOPEE with prior telephonic appointment, on nominal fee of Rs. 100/- on any working day at the below mentioned JKBOPEE offices:
