NIFT Entrance Exam is conducted by National Insitute of Fashion Technology. The exam is a national level exam. It is organised to select eligible candidates for admission to various UG and PG courses offerd by the institute.
Courses offered by National Institute of Fashion Technology: UG - B.Des./ B.F.Tech ; PG - M.F.M/ M.F.Tech./ M.Des.

The eligibility criteria for NIFT 2017 is as under:
NIFT UG 2017
Nationality - Indian
Age limit: The maximum age should be 23 years as on 1st October, 2017 for general candidates.
5 years relaxation on maximum age limit for SC, ST or Differently Abled Person (PHP) candidates.
Must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from any recognized board.
NIFT PG 2017
Age limit: no minimum or maximum age limit
Qualification: For M.Des and M.F.M programme, candidates must have obtained bachelor's degree from any institution/university recognized by law in India
SC - 15%
ST - 7.5%
OBC - 27%
PH - 3%
Foreign Nationals/SAARC/NRI – 15% (supernumerary)
State Domicile – 20% (supernumerary)
State Domicile in Jammu & Kashmir – 35 % within 30 seats
The application fee for NIFT 2017 can be paid through any of the following modes:
Online : The fee can be paid via any credit/debit card or through online payment gateway.
Offline : Offline payment can be made through demand draft.

The result for NIFT 2017 shall be declared by the first week of June 2017, irrespective of the delay in the release of application forms.
