Overview
National Power Training Institute (NPTI), founded in 1974, is an apex body for Training and Human Resources Development in Power Sector. The institute operates on an all India basis through its Units in different power zones of the country located at Faridabad, Durgapur, Badarpur, Nagpur, Bangalore, Guwahati and Nangal. The aim of NPTI is to emerge as global leaders in improving human and organizational excellence in Power and Energy Sectors by blending frontier technologies with management to make HRD interventions easier that are instrumental in providing reliable, safe, economic and clean power. NPTI strives for value orientation and value addition to the national and transnational power and energy sectors via Training and Human Resources Development, endeavoring to energize the people who energize the Nation.

Course Eligibility
Candidates obtained B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engineering) in any branch of Engineering recognized by the M.D. University/ AIU securing a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent in terms of CGPA grade & who have appeared in the current CAT exam conducted by IIMs are only eligible to apply
