Overview
Amity Institute of Virology and Immunology (AIVI), a part of Amity University, was established as a pioneering institute offering postgraduate and doctorate courses in the fields of Virology and Immunology. Exclusively based on Virology and Immunology, AIVI is the first institute of its kind in the country. With experienced and internationally trained faculty the institute strives to create highly qualified virologists and immunologists that are qualified and able to work in any area. In addition to humans, immunological and viral problems of animal, plans and fish also form parts of the research based courses. The courses include theoretical training and practical training in conventional and advanced techniques. Life at AIVI includes frequent student seminars, presentations and projects, lectures of renowned experts helping students to develop their scientific skills.
