Overview
Amity School of Natural Resources and Sustainable Development (ASNRSD) was established under Amity University in 2015 with two flagship courses: MBA Natural Resources and Sustainable Development and M.Sc Forestry. Increasing pressure on the natural ecosystems of the world due to booming populations has led to an urgent demand of trained professionals to find solutions to issues such as water scarcity, unsustainable development practices and land usability pressures. ASNRSD has envisioned a comprehensive approach to the solution of the sustainability problems of the world, combining ecological, social and economic considerations. Apart from regular lectures, students are educated via seminars, training programmes and research and demonstration projects. In addition to education, ASNRSD also conducts research and serves as an advisory to various sustainable development and natural resource management concerns across the country.

Candidate should have passed M Sc. (Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Life Sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ Anthropology/ Veterinary Sc./ Environmental Science/ Forestry/ Wildlife/ Natural Resources/ Climate Science/ Ecology/ Genetics Psychology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Renewable Energy) degree OR Masters degree in Economics, Geography, Sociology, Environmental Studies, Engineering from any accredited Indian or Foreign University with a minimum of 55% marks or grade point average.
