Overview
School of Art, Design and Media Studies (SADMS), a part of Sharda University was established with a vision to provide creative and skilled professionals with cutting edge knowledge who are ready to take on their desired field. Courses at SADMS are available at Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral levels and are based on a comprehensive curriculum pattern, combining aspects of research training, professional development and personality development. Practical experience is given weight-age in both Art and Design courses and Media Studies. Art and Design students have frequent interactions with artists, designers, craftsman, client, engineer and marketers etc to understand each step of the design process. Media studies students are encouraged to participate in a student-run newspaper and an on-campus radio set-up. Guest lectures from industry experts are conducted frequently.
