Overview

As a forerunning effort for the creation and distribution of knowledge in the field of natural sciences under the patronage of the Shiv Nadar University, the School of Natural Sciences (SNS) was established in August 2011, in Greater Noida Uttar Pradesh, in a vast, self-sustaining, fully residential green campus . The School aims at offering a world class environment in a local setting with innovative and interactive teaching methods, global-level curricula and faculty, and key partnerships in research. The institute lays a considerable emphasis on group-learning and provides value-added hard and soft skills workshops along with instrumental internships each summer. Both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes have been designed on the basis of strengthening interdisciplinary and research-led learning which happens to be the guiding philosophy of SNU, the School of Natural Sciences sets to combine, research and education at the undergraduate level itself for a more holistic understanding of the subject. The School of Natural Sciences also awards meritoriously worthy applicants with scholarships, internships and other opportunities to enable them to get the finest education possible.
