Overview
Since its establishment, the Dronacharya College of Engineering, has worked towards producing engineers and managers that match the global standards. This is done by promoting excellence in education and growth of the students so that the future engineers or managers reciprocate well to the expectations of the market. Our goals extend beyond academics and we aim to help the communities by lifting their life standards with better education. We thus, attend to the needs of our students, society, humaneness and the commercial sector alike. Our banner that soars high each day, is engraved with the golden idea that we endorse, ‘ShikshaevamSahayata’ that is Education and Help. We strive for the attainment of an improved learning ambiance and amenities for the students to excel academically and hence increase their access to employment opportunities. Besides grooming them into only Technocrats and Managers, we work upon making them better individuals for a progressing nation, promoting them to venture into philanthropic initiatives to wipe out the ignorance that blinds us.

Dronacharya College of Engineering is an extension of school for students who wish to learn the very fundamentals of the subjects.
The faculty and the ambiance are both inclined towards acads.
You should up to this institute when you want to just study as other activities are not widely present.

The major problem with this college is the location, which is almost 20 kms. from the metro station. Also, the faculty is very good for some courses while not so good for other. The benefit of this college is that its close to major MNCs and students get really good internship opportunities. The college management needs to be improved though. Its a good college for students pursuing an engineering degree as the placements are quite good too.
