Overview

Guru Jambheshwar University was founded in 1995 and is affiliated to UGC. In keeping with the courses being proffered by the university and the decree for which it was founded, the name of the university was eventually changed to Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology. The University sprawls an area of about 372 acres. The premises are adorned with picturesque scenery, plentiful buildings of diverse designs and wide road arrangement, presenting a marvel of conformity in architecture and natural beauty. The University is located at Hisar, a swiftly growing town at a distance of 167 Km. from Delhi on NH-10 and at a distance of 231 Km. from Chandigarh on NH-65.
