Sardar Chanan Singh Ghumman Memorial College of Education was set up in 2008 with the clear objective of transforming young men and women into self-motivated, self-reliant and empowered individuals. The institute is still in its early years, but it has successfully begun a new educational trail and has created a name for itself in the field of education. The teaching faculty of this college is highly qualified, well-trained and supportive and continuously works so as to bring out the best in students. The prime aim of the college is to holistically develop all its pupils in every sphere- academic, moral, cultural, physical, economic and emotional. Teacher trainees are taught/trained using a combination of several activities that includes Team teaching, Real teaching, Mega teaching, Microteaching and IT based education.
