The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow was envisioned by the first Prime Minister of India – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, in the year 1984. It is fourth in the prestigious IIM family of management schools to be initiated after IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore. IIML shapes its students into value-driven leaders, universal players and managers. The institute undertakes numerous academic activities in respect of creation, distribution and implementation of the management education and its practice. In the year 2005, IIM Lucknow extended its area of influence in the field of management education by becoming the leading IIM to establish a satellite campus solely for executive education at Noida in Delhi-NCR region. IIML proffers various Post Graduate Programmes, PG Programmes for Executives, Fellow programmes and Executive Education. These programmes are accredited by the Global accreditation body AMBA.
