Overview

Subharti Dental College (SDC), a part of the Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, was established by the Subharti KK B Charitable Trust in 1996 with a goal to impart quality education in the field of dentistry, creating qualified professionals that can treat patients holistically. Students undergo theoretical and practical training, receiving a firm foundation of the oral and dental problems that a dentist will come across, and be required to diagnose, treat and prevent. Emphasis is also given to personality development and on inculcating in students a positive value and belief system. SDC is in collaboration with University of Florida and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston (USA), facilitating academic exchange programmes. The College is recognized by the Dental Council of India for offering BDS, MDS (8 specialisations) and Ph.D. courses.
