Overview

Chandigarh College of Education, Landran bears the uniqueness of inculcating dynamic values in the teachers they shape for the future. The college takes it as a mission to form future builders for the country on the principles of education shown by Sir Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, Tagore and Gandhi. Its well organized infrastructure and modern teaching methodology meet the needs of the students of 21st century.

The college is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala and is recognized by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and Govt. of Punjab. The college has a unique distinction of being the first ever educational college in Chandigarh-Mohali local planning area. Chandigarh College of Education has been accredited with ‘A’ grade by the National Accreditation Assessment Council (NAAC), Bangalore. The grade was awarded at a high profile glittering ceremony of NAAC organized on 24th April 2011 at Bangalore and was received by Dr Neena Sawhney, Principal of the college.
