Overview

Established in 2008, Teerthanker Mahaveer University was formed under the Act of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The youth favours the University because of the advanced sciences and the shedload subjects in arts and languages. TMU is accredited by the UGC (University Grants Commission) and AICTE. Its situated barely 144km from New Delhi, on NH-24. TMU initiated several departments and colleges for Polytechnic, Dental, Para-Medical, Hospital, Medical, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Physical Education, Administration etc.

One of the premier institutes of the university is the College of Engineering. The college is preparing qualified engineering graduates and who are well trained with multiple expertise, so that they can meet the expanding requirements for engineers and entrepreneur across the world. Within a small period of its establishment, the college emanated as the primary center of academic excellence, by offering high quality knowledge of technical education. The potential environment for the research activities in various specializations of technology is a strength in itself. The College of Engineering has a full time proficient faculty members imparting quality education in 10 different academic departments. CoE provides their students with several undergraduate, post graduate and doctorate level courses, which covers significant branches of engineering and basic sciences. Extensive attention is given to set the seal on proficiency in communication, professional skills, personality development and entrepreneurial attributes among the youth, so that they can collaborate with the corporate world.
