Overview

Established in 2008, Teerthanker Mahaveer University was formed under the Act of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The youth favours the University because of the advanced sciences and the shedload subjects in arts and languages. TMU is accredited by the UGC (University Grants Commission) and AICTE. Its situated barely 144km from New Delhi, on NH-24. TMU initiated several departments and colleges for Polytechnic, Dental, Para-Medical, Hospital, Medical, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Physical Education, Administration etc.

With the rising need of up gradation of knowledge and education, the new generation needs are to ingress the knowledge from sources which are divided by the distance and time. To equalize the pace with the advancing trend of expanding the traditional learning mode of the university to the self learning, online, distance education, procedures etc, the Teerthanker Mahaveer University initiated the Directorate of Distance Education, accredited by the Distance Education Council, New Delhi. The college works with the primary objective to imbibe professional knowledge to the youth and also deliver competitive periphery in the global environment for advancing the qualifications of the beginners to meet the diverse challenges of the corporate world, through the expert programmes provided to them.
