Overview

Established in 2008, Teerthanker Mahaveer University was formed under the Act of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The youth favours the University because of the advanced sciences and the shedload subjects in arts and languages. TMU is accredited by the UGC (University Grants Commission) and AICTE. Its situated barely 144km from New Delhi, on NH-24. The University pledges on the paradigm of Lord Mahaveer - Right Knowledge, Right Philosophy and Right Conduct - in all the realm of activities and intend to be acknowledged as the ideal destination for high quality education.

Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College & Research Centre has been initiated to deliver quality medical knowledge and prepare proficient healthcare providers (Doctors) to deliver to the society with the professional MBBS students, accredited by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The college got recognized in 2013. The Medical College and Research Center offers Post Graduate programmes (MD) in Pre and Para Clinical curriculum of Physiology, Anatomy, Pathlogy, Forensic Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology (2012) and Community Medicine and Pharmacology (2013), accredited by the Medical Council of India.. Since the academic year 2014-15, Modern curriculum has been initiated such as MD/MS in Psychiatrist, Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Radiology, Dermatology, Anesthesiology, ENT and Ophthalmology and in OBG, Orthopedics and TB & Chest from the academic year 2015-16.
