Overview

Established in 2008, Teerthanker Mahaveer University was formed under the Act of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The youth favours the University because of the advanced sciences and the shedload subjects in arts and languages. TMU is accredited by the UGC (University Grants Commission) and AICTE. Its situated barely 144km from New Delhi, on NH-24. The University pledges on the paradigm of Lord Mahaveer - Right Knowledge, Right Philosophy and Right Conduct - in all the realm of activities and intend to be acknowledged as the ideal destination for high quality education.

To meet the growing requirements of the Indian economy along with the procedure of globalization has developed a huge demand for expert and trained manpower to manage technical jobs and manifold industries like infrastructure, manufacturing, electronics and electrical sectors. To undergo this challenge, the University has initiated a University Polytechnic that provides several professional courses, which are both vocational and technical in nature. The course structure is designed in a way that the students are capable of performing the basic tasks of engineering and pursue beneficial and rewarding career. The college is adamant to provide the new generation engineers with the advanced expertise and able to provide the best to the market through a regular procedure of skill intensification in communicative, technical and personal areas.
