Department of Physical Education, a constituent college of the renowned University of Mumbai, was founded in 2005. Located in Santacruz East, Mumbai, the department is approved by the Universal Grants Commission. The objective of the department is to facilitate the development of balanced human beings who have the wisdom to create a life of passion, purpose and peace. It strives to produce resourceful and eminent teachers and masters in the field of Physical Education. The mission is to develop competence to undertake research in Physical Education games and sports. Their primary vision is to become a world-class institution that provides a resourceful ground for young minds to strengthen the foundation of their future life by giving them knowledge and physical skills and the art of living. The department offers courses such as Bachelor of Physical Education, M.P.Ed., Ph.D.
