Overview

Hansraj Jivandas College of Education was founded in 1969 by Gujarat Research Society. The institute is recognized by NCTE, UGC; accredited by the NAAC with an 'A' grade and permanently affiliated by the University of Mumbai. Gujrat Research Society comprises of an ICSE School and a Junior College, a Medical Center, a Guidance and Counseling unit, a Centre for Life Long Learning and Hansraj Jivandas College of Education. Various courses offered by the HJCE are B.Ed., Ph.D., M.A., and many more. The institute is an active Research Centre for Ph.D. in Education. The mission of the institute is to instill ethical values and leadership qualities in the students so that they can serve the society well in the future. It strives to impart high-quality education to their students. It one of the Pioneer Educational Institutions not just in Mumbai but in the Maharashtra State as well, with many of its alumni placed at distinct positions in the varied fields of Education.
