Overview

Mumbai B.Ed College For Women was founded in 2004. It is affiliated to Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University (SNDT Women's University) and is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE, Bhopal). The Institute believes that education exercises a significant influence on the employment and income opportunities open to people and hence corrects the inequalities in society, leading to economic and social betterment. Working under the eminent guidance and sponsorship of Bhartiya Gramin Punarrachana Sanstha, the institute offers two years of full-time undergraduate degree level Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course in both English and Marathi medium. The mission of the institute is to impart higher and value-based education to the economically weaker and marginalized section of the society.
