R.A. Podar College of Commerce & Economics was founded in 1941 by Ramdeoji Anandilal Podar. It is approved by NAAC, UGC and affiliated to University of Mumbai.The institute has had a long history, which commenced with the freedom struggle of India. The institute was founded on the basis of the foresight of the visionaries who felt the need to instill social and cultural values in the youth, typical of the rich heritage of India. The mission of the institute is to inculcate professional ethics and management skills in the students. Some of the courses proffered by the institute are M.Com. Business Management, Certificate Basic Counseling Skills, Postgraduate Diploma Management Studies, etc. The institute imparts high-quality of education relevant to the needs of the society.
