Overview

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RGIT) was founded in the year 1992 under the Manjara Charitable Trust. Its primary purpose was to deliver high-quality education in the field of Engineering and Management. The college is located in the heart of Mumbai in Andheri West along the luxurious Versova beach. It has been permanently affiliated to the renowned University of Mumbai. The institute originated with just three undergraduate engineering courses in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering, Mechanical engineering and Instrumentation engineering. Later, undergraduate courses in Computer engineering and Information Technology were also introduced. All these academic programs have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and was also accredited with grade 'A' by the Govt. of Maharashtra. Over the past decades, RGIT has successfully maintained its reputation among the aspiring young minds of our nation.
