School of Physiotherapy was founded in 2004. The institute, a constituent college of the renowned D.Y Patil University is recognized by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) and accredited by NAAC. The institute offers various medical programs at undergraduate, postgraduate (masters) and postgraduate (doctorate) levels, such as Ph.D. Physiotherapy, Diploma Exercise Science, M.P.T. Sports and many more. The primary goal of the institute is to improve the quality of all the aspects of higher education in the field of Health Services both, in rural and urban areas of the country while keeping the global society’s demands in mind for the long run. The institute strives to provide and propagate high-quality knowledge, improve the students’ competency and also provide appropriate encouragement in the field of Research and Development in the emerging sectors of the Health Sciences and Sports field. It endeavors to become one of the leading institute in the Health Sciences field in the nation as well as globally.
