Overview

Shri C. B. Patel Research Centre for Chemistry and Biological Sciences (CBPRC) was established in 1991 as an autonomous Institute under the umbrella of Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM), a renowned Educational Trust. The Research Centre, recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt. of India, has a well defined mission: To conduct applied research on problems of national importance and to carry out time bound, contractual R & D work for the Industry. In addition, the Centre also trains and develops Students, Scientists and Technologists.
