Thakur College of Engineering & Technology was founded in 2001. It is approved by AICTE, Government of Maharashtra and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The institute was established with an objective of providing quality technical education in tune with international standards and contemporary global requirements. The vision of the institute is to excel in Technical Education to become an internationally renowned premier institute of Engineering and Technology. It strives consistently to achieve a symbiosis of technical development and human values. The aim of the institute is to prepare academically productive and professionally competent workforce with social sensitivity.
