Overview

Established in the year 1932, South Indian Education Society is devoted entirely to the source of Research, Education, Human Resource Development, R & D activities. Over a period of 75 years, SIES has established education schools in Navi Mumbai and Mumbai covering Commerce, Management, Science, Arts inclusive of Environment, Pharmaceuticals, Packaging Science and Technology. Packaging, in the current scenario, is recognized as the fundamental requirement for the industrial development and economic growth of the country.

South Indian Education Society formed the School of Packaging. It is an institute that endeavours to groom professionals dedicated to the cause of developing packaging that is functionally efficient with quality parameters according to the international standards while being cost-effective and environment-friendly. The mission is to design programs that will prepare packaging professionals of tomorrow, capable of facing the challenges of the future. Packaging encompasses every conceivable product, material and science. It provides an opportunity to learn and innovate continuously. Some of the courses proffered by the Institute are Post Graduate Diploma Packaging Science & Technology, Graduate Diploma in Packaging Technology, etc. The programs of the Institute are streamlined towards Education, Research and Industrial orientation also social and other societal needs.
