Overview

Chandrashekhar Agashe College of Physical Education was founded in 1977 by Maharashtriya Mandal. It is approved by the NAAC and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. The prime objective of the institute is to nurture the youth to become physically and mentally healthy, active, motivated, spirited and addiction-free. It strives to create facilities dedicated and committed to train and groom younger minds in mental and physical studies. It offers a range of Bachelor’s and Master’s courses in physical education as also an M.Phil course. The courses it proffers, thus, are specialty courses in physical education along with an academic subject included as a separate method of teaching. The vision of the institute to be a national leader in communicating, creating knowledge and environment about physical activity to improve the quality of life for all.
