Overview

The College of Animal Husbandry Baramati is affiliated to Mahatma Phule Agriculture University, Rahuri (M.S.). Today Indian Animal Husbandry needs highly competent & multi-disciplinary human resource. Hence, Agriculture Development Trust took this opportunity of investing in people for giving a cadre of highly competent human resource in the field of Animal Husbandry. The Agriculture Development Trust started this college with Ref. - 302nd Executive council meeting of Mahatma Phule Agriculture University, Rahuri (M.S.) held on 26th April 2013 under the Maharashtra Agricultural University Act 1983 Sec.31 (11). The College has been started in pursuit of rural development through agriculture and allied education. This is in response to the need and challenges of globalization. This is a concrete proof of Agriculture Development Trust's recognition of value and potential of the science and continuous efforts to create trained manpower required in the field of Animal Husbandry and Livestock development.

Course Eligibility

Candidate must have passed 10+2 (Science) pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. OR passed Agriculture Polytechnic. Those who have not offered Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective University.
