Overview

Dental College and Hospital, Bhartiya Vidyapeeth Deemed University came into existence in the year 1989 with a vision to fulfill the ever-so-growing demands of well-trained professionals in the field of Dentistry. The institute was initially affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University but later in the year 1996 it became a part of the Bhartiya Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. The institution has successfully carved a niche for itself in the field of Dentistry and has set an example for other such institutions. It has gained immense popularity and recognition over the past years at both the national and international levels. It has also received recognition from the Dental Council of India. Various courses are offered at this institute in the field of Dental Studies that include 8 postgraduate programs, 1 undergraduate program and 1 doctoral level program in Dental Sciences.
