Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Education (B.Ed.) Akurdi is a distinguished degree college affiliated to Pune University. The Government of Maharashtra has granted permission to establish this B. Ed. College with intake capacity of 100 students in the year 2007-2008. The course is approved by the N.C.T.E. (National Council of Teacher Education) Bhopal. The college is affilated to the Pune University. For B.Ed. college medium of instruction is Marathi.
