Overview

Dr. D. Y. Patil Law College was founded in 2001 by the Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidya Pratishthan Society and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. The vision of the institute is to be a premier Law Institution, guiding students, focusing on research and community work besides fulfilling their individual ambitions. The institute provides special assistance in learning and language skills through various remedial courses for students from socially and educationally underdeveloped areas. The aim behind all the co-curricular and academic activities is to not only impart theoretical knowledge but to provide an atmosphere for young minds to excel. The college strives to integrate the theory and practice of law within the Campus setting through Moot Court activities, as Moot Court activities are a crucial part of Legal Education.
