Overview

Haribhai V Desai College was founded in 1984 by Poona Gujarati Kelwani Mandal. It is approved by NAAC. The mission of the institute is to create a center of academic excellence in the field of higher education and for the development of the right skills oriented towards self-improvement and self-employment. The institute intends to develop human resource with right skills and positive attitude. Some of the courses offered by the institute are B.Sc (Computer Science), B.C.A., M.Sc (Chemistry), etc. The objective of the institute is to provide an environment that fosters continuous enhancement and innovation with technical support and facility to enhance student and faculty effectiveness. The aim is to advance the cause of higher education among middle and lower income groups and students coming from traditional business sections.
