Overview

Hutatma Rajguru Mahavidyalaya (HRM College), founded in 1977 by the Khed taluka Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (K.T.S.P Mandal) is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. The institute was established with the goal to provide good quality higher education in the Khed Taluka region so that students desiring higher education would not need to move to Pune or elsewhere, bridging the gap between villages and developed towns. Education is provided from Class XI level to post graduation level across a variety of subjects in the fields of Arts, Commerce and Science, along with vocational technical courses. Students are provided with information and guidance during admission time, helping them select suitable courses. HRM College also functions as a Yashwant Rao Chavan Maharashtra Open University study center, so that students not able to continue full-time studies can complete their education through distance mode.
